    I did a test with one of the rocks that are in my ground and a dime. I balanced out the rock (4 with the stock coil and 11 with the 10.5" DD MF coil) and then I passed the dime under the rock over the coil.     After paying an extra $150 for a DD coil for my bad ground to go with my X705... I will have exceeded the price of a used Explorer or Safari. My question is... Would a FBS machine that comes with DD coil work better in my hot ground than the single freq X705 with DD coil? I suspect it...

    Got my 705 a few days ago... and just now did some depth tests...My machine is not seeing a quarter at even 5" without IDing as -8. My ground here is very mineralized with lots of hot rocks. Does anyone think that my machine will be able to ID accurately at 6"+ if I got a DD coil? My machine...
