    back from repairs

    First hunt with rebuilt F5 and I have to say "shazam"! Went to the church for a short hunt and decided to only dig dimes, silver ,and quarters.     got the F5 back

    That was fast! They replaced my coil with a new one! It is a push on style but hey, the first one worked great till it messed up. (And this one is rock solid) no noise at all if I touch the wire or coonnector, thanks First tx! Now for tommorows hunt......mmmmmm?:)

    f5 is sick

    The connector is bad so I sent it today to First texas for repairs. Hope they get it fixed! I told them to "change the oil, kick the tires, and clean the windshield"! Hope she comes back as good as the first day I got it.

    Got permission to hunt an old train depot from the owner tonight!     give this a try

    when you are trying to see a date on a worn coin and you are having trouble seeing it use a small bubble of water>( i use visine) on the date....it will act as a magnifier and will help you see the date without using chemicals. used this on a buffalo nickel last night and it worked great!
