    As much as I would like to find a hammered coin, I will be happy to find some civil war stuff or maybe even a slave tag. Who knows, maybe Mr James walked through the woods and dropped a pouch full of coins. :clapping:

    Has anyone ever heard of Hopewell Virginia or live around there? I may have a chance to detect a 3 acre woods near a stream. He says its large oak trees and easy to walk around. Also said he has found arrowheads around there. I looked it up and to make a long story short, about 900 slaves...
