    I just got my new vx3 a week ago and i have really enjoyed using it and I have found a lot using the 950 concentric coil. However I am debating if i should purhcase a D2 10" coil. I live up in connecticut and do all my searching around here. Any tips on what kind of coil I should get?

    I just got my vx3 today and tried it out. Let's just say there is a lot of functions I have to learn about after using the coin master. I used relic mode and looked through my yard and didn't find to much yet some pennies and a long steel rod.

    yes I know i havn't mentioned much about my experience or my location. I live in CT and the soil here is very minerlized and sometimes gives me problems with using my detector. I moslty search in the woods and around parks, however i do plan on bringing my new metal detector to the ocean to do...

    Ya I get what you are trying to say. I am looking to do a variety of different searching with a metal detector and I have had experience using the whites coin master but it just isn't as accurate as I would like and I want to upgrade to a better one.
