    Electronic minds ???

Assuming that the sov. meter is measuring voltage from the coil back to the box, is there any reason that the meter couldn't be used on other machines as long as the return wire is on the same pin numbers on the connectors. For example, putting it on a GPX series which uses a 6 volt battery...

    Cracker Jack

I've been working a site that myself and others before me have worked over pretty good, but still find an occasional keeper. When I dug the cracker jack token I wondered what it was doing here in this old site. But after doing some reading, I found that the cracker jack name was trademarked in...

    Slow

These are from an area I think everyone else has given up on. I've been over it a couple of times before with both the explorer and the sov. and picked up all the easy targets. Went over it again real slow with the sov. and found a few more keepers. The lincolns are 1910, 1916, 1919, and...

    Different Sov Signal

Since I had dug all of the easy solid signals in this particular area, I deceided to dig some of the ones I would'nt ordinaraly dig. This was a scratchy 133 on a 180 meter. I believe it to be some sort of bi-metal product as aluminum would have given a solid 180. My thought was maybe its a...

    Large Brass

This has been laying around for a couple years and I never did figure out what it was for. It was found at an old town site that no longer exists. 1st pic is what I consider the front. 2nd pic the top 3rd pic the back, part of the back is missing. Almost looks like it could have been a...

    Wheat/V nickle/ barber

Went out to a site that I've hunted to death this morning and found 3 nice coins. The site is a foot bridge the miners used to get from the electric rail to the mine. This morning found a 1921s wheat 1912 V nickle (liberty still visable, best one I've dug) 1900 barber dime

    Season ending

The snow came down pretty low on the mountain this morning, so these are probobly the last relics I'll find this year. 2 miners tags, number 1 and number 208 1 high school track and field medal, dated 1930 on the back 1 pagoma lock plate, I think pagoma made cash registers at one time and if...

    XS2A see's everything

The explorer II walked over the merc and did'nt see it. As always the sovereign see's everthing. Retrieved the 1889 IH and 1917d merc early this morning before the temps soared up near 100 again today. The IH only read 172, but was a solid signal so I chiseled it out of the dry hard packed...
