    Something different

One more thing I would like to say about Red Heat detectors. They were designed to pick up non ferrous targets amongst the iron on the Thames River. I have 3 4 1/2” iron square head nails and a 1916 British Shilling. I place the coin on top and then under the nails, Red Heats has no problem...

    PATRIOT METER

Had to take it out, been a while. Have 6 coils for the Sov, used the GT. 5 of the coils are Minelab coils and one Cors coil for the GT. All Minelab coils were spot on with the meter, very accurate. Cors 13”/12” coil didn’t work well at all, wouldn’t calibrate. No problem calibrating with...

    How many Cortes users here?

I like mine, really a good detector, works well. I love my beep and dig detectors, have a lot of them, but I thought Tesoro had to do more to keep up with the other makers. The Cortes was a start. Has good features on it. Not your real beep and dig detector though.

    I wish xp made a 6 0r 7 inch coil for D2

The battery in the Deus headphone is the same size battery in remote and coil, there’s only one size battery.

If they can fit a battery in the headphone they can fit one in a 6” coil

    Wilson Detectors

I have the R&C III, and IV ,plus the II and the III is as deep as IV, and the IV has a booster switch. we all have our favorites but the II has the less depth of the set, they all have great discrimination, all could cut out everything but still hit silver if that was what your after.Don’t think...

It's refreshing to see more well rounded reviews.

Who are you to tell us anything about anybody, we all can read and we all can think for ourselves, your no one special to say anything about other people. Stick to talking about detectors if you can.

    Wilson Detectors

My ATD in motion was 6-6.5, in non motion 5.5. I think mine needs a good cleaning, don’t think it’s working 100%. One of my R&C IV’s air tested 8-8.5, and I grabbed the North Star for the heck of it, it air tested the dime at 12.5- 13”

    Wilson Detectors

The pin switch on the face bottom left side in GND is in all metal mode, when up in disc is in discrimination mode, both those positions the metal detector has to be in motion. Once the trigger switch on bottom of detector is held in the detector is in non- motion modes in GND and disc modes. The...

Bummer, enjoyed what you had to say. Even though it’s white, there are some that will say it’s black, I’ve learned to turn their nonsense off.
