    Been thinking

    I have been thinking about where the street sweepers dump. There has to be clad in the piles. Also I would think that the parks department picks up a lot of jewelry and coins when they mow. Where do they dump the clippings? Think that I will try to make friends with some of them. Just a thought...

    Went out in to the woods

    I had just built a tool tray and fixed it up how I wanted and went out to a place that use to have a bunch of houses but it is timber now and looked around. found some clad and nails railroad spikes and a swamp hook that they would drive into a log to pull it.     New camera

    I went over to Bi-Mart today and bought a Vivitar 580 camcorder to film my dirt fishing. Well it was only $43.40 with tax and all so I got it home and put batteries in it and memory card turned it on and started to shoot video.     My first Ring

    I found this wonderful ring at a sports field next to the Tot-Lot. I can't seem to find any marks on it so I don't think it is worth much. I found it next to a pop can tab. It seemed to have some candy on it but it cleaned up well.

    Ace 250 question

    I don't know if it is the way it is built or what but I have been noticing that when swinging if the coil hits a blade of grass that it will give me a coin signal and I try to get it again I will see the grass move when it beeps. Is there anything that I can do to try to stop this.

    Silver Coins

    I have some silver coins that I found in an old camp site and was wondering how to clean them up so I can see the dates. They are a real dark brown now. I tryed to just wash them but it doesn't seem to help. They arn't real old but they are before 1964
