    Need to replace Excal coil?

    I have a Excal 1000 about 9 years old. The coil wire outer jacket is starting to come off down by the coil.I recently got a set of GG amphibians from OBN (He is the guy to go to for excal headphones) Now my question is what is a good coil for beach hunting South FL?
