    Advice Please

If your not going to be diving or submerging the whole machine then the headphones is whichever style you prefer. I use the lightweight back phones with my D1 and love the things.

    11" Coil. .. and . . . 11"X13" Coil ?

For the Deus 1 yes. The D2 looks to only have the 9 and 11 for initial offerings.

    Deus 2 Pre Order

I hope not given that I'm going to wait till after the first of the year to get in line myself. I waited a little over 4 months in that other debacle.

XP Deus II on the beach..

My dilemma is which coil as ordering the second size as a spare isn't an option yet. I do some relic hunting and quite frankly would love so see what new tech could pull out of the sites I have access too. However most of my hunting is in old parks and schools where I'm trying to pick out what...

    Is the Deus II fast?

I know. That's why I asked to see proof. ;)

    Is the Deus II fast?

Got any links to your videos showing these tests you mention?

XP DEUS II Introduction | XP Metal Detectors

Watched that a little bit ago. Super tantalizing. The park mode with a built in bottle cap eliminator is most certainly an interest getter. Still going to wait till these are in the hands of the masses and then hope the back orders aren't till the end of time itself.

What test or feature would you like me to video on the Deus 2 first?

The nail/iron tests, how well does it separate in trash. Should I add one of these to my collection I will do my own depth tests as results will vary and I overly suspect the folks asking for that know this. Plus according to XP the machine can be used in single frequency mode so if raw depth is...

Deus 2 most anticipated release ever..

I can't wait for you to get ahold of one either. Looking forward to the vids and seeing if I too need one in my life. I did see one those #short vids from Garandsolyn with one in it so hopefully we will start seeing content soon. The announcement and subsequent launch of this machine still has...

    Very Small Button

I thought that looked like it could be an eagle too. I have an 1836 U.S. Navy collar/cuff button that isn't much larger than that one. If you can make out the manufacturer info on the back you can probably identify it. And an interesting site indeed as that rolled copper point could be Native...

    Problems with Deus II

I've been keeping an eye on his stuff too. Solely going off his feedback to questions it kinda looks like XP is using an NDA even after product launch. If that is the case it could be good, bad, or understandable given the goings on in the world of late. I'm leaning towards the latter and think...

    Price 1600.00

^^^^^ Definitely want to see C D get ahold of one. I've got tougher soil where I'm at so don't get the depth he does but everything else he shows I've been able to duplicate in my own test garden.

    Price 1600.00

I'm thinking the same. One thing is making me more hesitant though. It's been nearly a week since the official announcement of the new machine. I haven't been able to find anyone on the webs that's had one in their hands, not even the XP sponsored folks that's job it is to make us want to buy...

    Price 1600.00

That is a steep price but when you consider that the same/similar package original Deus sold for roughly that same price for years and years I'm surprised kept it at the same price point.

    Problems with Deus II

I find it hard to believe they didn't have some of these out there with select testers ready to upload videos once finally announced. I'm with some of the other folks. Hesitant to buy the first of anything high tech and would like to see them in action from trusted sources before committing 1600...

    Freq doesn’t save

How the Deus goes about saving any changes made is a tad odd at first. I keep catching myself years later trying to hit enter to save something when in the main menu screen and that's now how these work.

Im sure this has been asked before

I tried several different set ups when I first got my DEUS with no luck and from the results of several forum searches ended up abandoning the idea. For a couple years I used the wrist band holder for the remote and ran a wire up my shirt sleeve. That worked pretty well but you have to add a...

New XP Detector will be a MF?

I saw that on the box as well. Looks like some sort of logo with an F in red then the MF. That's a pretty big spoiler if that's what it represents. I also use an Equinox and Deus combo. I like both machines but find way more stuff with the Deus especially in heavy iron.

Get Ready | XP Metal Detectors

That could be awesome. Always wanted a V3i but my detecting runs in stints and I'd never be able to learn or remember a machine with that much adjustability.

Get Ready | XP Metal Detectors

A DEUS II. Hmmm. At least is doesn't look like it is going to be a sub par entry level machine like most their competitors have been fixated on these last years.
