    Exactly what I was looking for. I set it up for the headphones to stay off when the RC is turned on, and to turn the headphones off when the RC is turned off. Thank You Squirrel and Welwood

    When I select speaker on the controller the headphones still come on automaticallly and I have to turn them off manually. Is that the way they are supposed to function?

    Nice midtone finds. I started doing the same at one of the parks here but still use 50 tones. Was there also a lot of pulltabs and beavertails that were dug? I dont dig if they come in at 11, but still dig plenty at 12 and 13.

    Eliptical HF Coil problems

    My HF coil is having some issues. I give it a full charge. It lasts for about an hour and then suddelnly it stops working and the battery is discharged. I put a new battery in it. Still does the same thing. Has anyone else had this problem?

    I ordered a used Omega 8000 version 5

    I have heard good things about the 8000. Never owned one either. How does it stack up to your other detectors for coin hunting in the park, or other places?
