    Yes, I used mine at beach one day and it actually performed better than my Garrett Apex which was in Multi-salt.

    I have had the +. The + is 12khz while the Ultra is 15khz and is said to be more stable.

    I heard a rumor about First Texas might be releasing a new machine around Spring. I have noticed some lower prices by some online retailers. One is selling new Teknetics G2+ for $279! Thats a steal!

    AT pro coil issue

    Looks like the coil cover coming apart. I never use one on mine but I hunt mostly sandy land. It does look like the resin is starting to come apart that covers the wiring which could lead to trouble. I would just get another coil cover.
