    i sold my 6000sl pro a while back. and was sorry. i tried tessoro, minelab. fisher,ect. and nothing was like that ole analog. so just got in a xl pro and lovin it. i saved the rain/dust cover of the minelab quattro and it works great on the xl pro. not a perffect fit but good.     i noticed the other day while detecting real wet grass // i raised the coil to clear some spider webs and all this water poured out. checked the coil and i can pull the bottom of the cover open and see the insides. still platic coated but i'm thinkin gettin dirt in there and having falsing...

    howdy all

    i'm new here.been dectecting for more than 20 years. started with a ole garret now use whites. sold my eagle, still have the 4900 and a 6000. the 4900 spent some time under water in a flood still works but only goes 2" on a quarter.:yikes: the 6000 my girlfriend more or less took it over.:smile...
