2 Barbers and other Goodies Toccoa Ga

Nice finds near the Tugaloo River. Spot has been hammered in past but managed these by going into the woods away from the house. Thanks to Dedicated Digger Shane Durrance. We each got lucky with a Barber. Weirdly enough mine was less than 1/2 inch deep. I kicked it up clearing the leaves

Lost Wedding Band 20 Years Ago

Talking to my mom’s neighbor today and of course I brought up my obsession with detecting. An old creek runs behind his house and this was part of Forsyth County Ga gold land lottery early 1800 s. He then tells me about losing his wedding band 20 years ago doing yard work. Told him I think I...

Finally detecting without sweating to death. All around my spot old stone lined well. Small flat button seems to be oldest. The horse badge(watch fob?) and 2 hole brass thing same hole. Nice spear point was in shotgun Willy hole.

Think I Found The Old Home Place

Referring to the jaw harp is it likely made in England like several of the buttons or did they make them here in early 1800s to?

Think I Found The Old Home Place

If yall come to Georgia let me know so you can help me figure this place out. I wouldn’t think the cabin sat where I’m finding the buttons but also finding square nails mixed in the same area.

Think I Found The Old Home Place

Went back to my button site today. First time in 5 trips no buttons but did find a Jaw Harp. My first one. Dug several iron signals which were square nails. Think I’ve found the max depth on the triple score so hopefully this winter I can get the Legend 2 and maybe someone with a Manticore can...
