    Most importantly if needing to dig a plug when on nice turf is leaving a hinge on plug as it reduces the brown and quickens the heal. Like cut a letter C and flip it, still connected (hinge). Good luck and happy hunting.

    If any youtubers are reading, do a vid. 3 sided plug leave turf attached, Minimal browning, quicker turf recovery. Full plug, goes full brown, lawnmower may suck it up. May get a million likes and stuffs, but may do a good service to the hobby

    Ive been binging on youtube park metal detecting vids and it seems that nearly everyone digs enormous removable plugs. Its like someone dragging the needle across the record. "If you see something say something"

    On the other hand, i was detecting the swimming beach of a drained lake when 2 attractive young women in bikini tops walked all the way down the hill and asked me 'where'd the water go', and in my dumbest dumb and dumber moment i told them where another beach was, instead of inviting them back...

    Just the usual "do you have permission?", and "your're not going to find anything" and once a camp host quickly walked passed the tot lot and said "you're not suppose to be doing that". I kept "doing that".
