DEEPSTAR 3 probe compatible with TDI?

I don't use the Deepstar so was wondering if its probe could be an easy add to my TDI (original 200). Thinking of putting Beachstar on Ebay soon. THANKS Dave

    Manual ground balance

I haven't had a problem GBing so far, but in trashy sites or with problem coils the numerical reference of GB came in handy on DFX (course & fine adjustment). Maybe I missed that page. Any comments? So many new detectors, so little time. Dave

    #3 Thingamajig ?

The long piece is thin springy steel. The six other pieces are brass and are riveted on. The small pieces show wear from something hanging from them, more wear on large end. I should have orientated the brass parts down in photo. Same area as 1&2. Any ideas? Thanks Dave

    Nest with a view?

Driving past a long abandoned corral in NV a "poor wounded bird" flopping around next to the road caught my attention. Took me a few minutes to locate its nest, then waited in the truck tell she returned (about 15 min.).

    NV. Hatbands

Its the best I could do with HARSH LIGHTING, don't think these two footers would wait for the sun to lower. I lightened the shadows under the chin of the top one so its tongue would show up. HH Dave

    Hairy Preditor

Saw this fly(?) zooming around my truck before it landed on outside mirror with struggling prey. The moth didn't struggle long but did shed a lot of wing scales. Shot this at f4, 1/250 from about 3". Hairy thing is about 1/2" long. Good job keeping forum active Tom. Thanks Dave
