    You can make a new mount. just get yourself a piece of aluminum channel. Drill two screw holes in the bottom of the channel. Line the channel on top of the controlbox, drill two identical holes. Drill two holes on the sides to match the holes on the handle. Get some screws , washer and nuts...

    How long have your Tesoro's lasted without needing service

    Tesoro for the most part have used good electronic components. If taken care of, Tesoros seem to last forever. Occasionally, if something goes wrong, it will be a wire that breaks off a solder pad. Tesoro used pretty stiff wire, especially in the smaller umax models.

    Those are just your basic trimpots. They do wear out. they are not really meant to be adjusted much. They just put it in the umax housing as space in certain umax models is limited near the box top. I prefer to use the mini Alpha pots, they are smaller in diameter than the Alpha's Tesoro use...
