    Yes you can shoot IR on a modern digital camera,you can have the filers removed from the front of the sensor to make it a full spectrum camera and then use various screw on lens filters to only allow the spectrum within the IR range to pass through this gives unique different image...

    Just went back to a 6MP digital camera

    Sven,does seem to perform very well your new camera,that a very nice setup...must admit i also like using a M4/3 Olympus setup,currently using very early Nikon glass on my Olympus and the images that this combination produces are amazing.
