I'm a little late on this post but I've been very busy with work lately. I've barely had time to clean finds, let alone post anything. This last hunt was kinda bleak in the finds department. We suffered through the heat and bone dry ground for hours with little to show. We reverted back to an "old faithful" town that has treated us both very well in the past but finding unhunted property (by us) is getting harder and harder their. I am reminded why I love yard hunted so much though. I am truly amazed by all the people we meet. Most are very gracious, helpful, interesting, and quite entertaining. We joke that we should run for city council of this small town because we can drive down every street and tell ya who lives where (by name), a bit about them, and what was found there. The people we meet are truly amazing and the finds are secondary. I was just barely able to eek out silver with a 64' rosie but was quite happy with this unlisted Iowa trade token. I sure hope this heat breaks soon and we get some moisture in the ground so we can hunt more comfortably. Thanks, and I hope everyone gets out to hunt soon. JJ
