Finding this 1 silver dime, 1935, was almost a let down. I started out on a fresh spot and had no more then fired up the F 75 LTD when I got a nice repeatable signal at about 5." Within the first two minutes of my hunt I had pocked the Mercury dime. New area and a silver right off, I was thinking, "Katie bar the door." Katie did, she barred me from any more silver. Spot seems to have a glimmer of promise, though, as it did yield 5 wheat cents and some high tone Memorial censt along with a couple pieces of clad. Loaded with iron, however. Slow going. Coil and settings were about as yesterday, for the most part. HH jim tn

.If you had started working that area the other way, it would have been your last find. Its really great to see your posts, especially the way you just plowed right on through the drought steadily finding silver. There were lots of good tips we got from you this summer about hunting in those dry/hot conditions.
I like finding those mercs. Its not the couch in our house it is one of my recliners. Everyone sees how comfortable I am in them and every one sits in my recliners and I find some nice goodies in them and since it is my chairs it is my treasure.
Great detecting Jim......Z
