10-26-08 old hotel finds !

hello everyone went out detecting today after the rain for a couple hours with my son we had a awesome time we both found some relics and i found a bell with the two clappers also i found a old flat button ( soaking in olive oil) and a musket ball, my boy found a modern penny and some bullets and a round disc thing looks sorta like a watch back or cap .i also had a strange in counter today with a red fox !as it was coming out of its den, lol i was standing like 15 feet away from the back side of the Fox's den and as the fox was coming out of the ground it was facing the other way and it took the fox several seconds too realize or see me it took off into the woods as fast as it could hahaha i didn't bring the camera but i don't think i would of had time too take pictures anyway happened so fast.

Looks like one of those old-fashioned alarm clock bells, but I'm just guessing.

Maybe that bell was the kind that sat on the hotel lobby desk that they rang for the bellboy to come take your baggage to your room.
