10.5 MF DD air test

I am curious what kinda depth you guys are getting with your 10.5 MF DD. I have run an X-70 10.5 MFDD coil on my 705 and I know it had good depth in the field, but I can't really remember ever air testing it. I air tested a quarter the other day with my new 10.5 DD and it was around 10" running wide open with nothing Disc.
I haven't got my test garden finished yet, and the ground is still frozen anyway, so I thought I would see if anyone else had similar results. I am thinking the coin in the ground will test deeper, but I don't know for sure. Maybe my old coil was a little hotter as well.

Is that the 10.5 is a DEEP running coil. Relic hunting using either the 70 or 705, 2 tones, all metal, tracking on, I have found bullets at crazy depth. I watched a buddy of mine with a 705 & the 10.5 coil dig a .69 Minnie at 15 inches!! My personal best is 12 inches.

I've dug a lot of silver dimes with that coil that were 10" to 12" deep and when they are that deep they are Seated of Barbers.
