10 Hours Worth :twodetecting:

Holedigger

New member
A couple hours Friday evening and most the day Saturday finally paid off. Have been in a dry spell lately. Found these in an old ghetto St. Louis park park in heavy trash around an old tree I've named the "poop tree" because there must have been three dozen piles of dog do do all around it . Had to sweep the 6 inch coil ultra slow because of all the trash. Had a little trouble at this park for the first time. Evidently a local ethnic resident out for a walk, came up to me and said I needed to hunt the parks where I live. Being by myself I had to bite my tongue and refrained from responding for life and health reasons. Might not be a good idea to hunt there by myself anymore :starwars:

Happy hunting all.

Glad to see you out the weather has not been the best,Nice finds and carry a big shovel with you like I do,Its been a long time for me finding a standing quarter.congrats and good luck on your next hunt.

go there by yourself anymore.I knew sooner or later something like that was going to happen. You are lucky and it could have been worse. Don't go gettin' yourself "offed" before I get to head your way next season.

You may have to go back but this time with a buddy. If there is that much stuff still there, then who knows what else could be waiting for the next detectorist. Good Luck and HH when you return.

but your post brought back the feelings of anger I use have from treating innocents that had been violated and comments we were confronted with on some rescue calls. Too many people with chips on their shoulders. Unfortunately, many of the good locations to hunt are located in danger zones. Stay safe.

Nice finds !

Check out this website http://www.missouricarry.com/. Screw those thugs. They run like the cockroaches that they are when they find out you can put up a defense. I MD frequently in bad neighborhoods (early in the day only) and never worry about it. Some people simply want to try to intimidate you.

Nice going Holedigger, nice looking coins...

We can do without :ranting: though eh !

Take care.
