General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

10 x 5 coil for etrac??

Thinking about a new coil for my etrac?? Have a sunray 8 ..what do you guys like best coiltek, nel or what is best for Coin hunting?? Thanks for any help you might give!!
 
not sure if u posted in the correct forum, idk if ur looking to buy. Ill give u my opinion to ur ? tho. The sunray x8 is a great coil one of the best smaller coils if not considered the best by some. I personally like my EQ2 6" coil for trash. I have the NEL sharpshooter 5.5x9.5 also that im selling. Im just not a fan of the the shape. its a great coil goes deep, pinpoints great. It may just be me, but i like round or close to round coils (they seem to work for me)- if that makes any sense. Even the SEF butterfly style coils (sef 6x:geek: are nice. Only reason i dont have the 6x8 is imo the 6" and the sef 6x8 are very close in overall depth/performance/separation. i have never used a coiltek small coil so im no help there. idk if this is any help or not, but u will get many many different opinions on each coil. theres alot of factors that come into play as well to determine the best coil for your area. what works for others may not work for you.
 
I use the 6x8 sef on my exp 2 and it is one of my favorite coils,much better sep than stock 8inch coil,have heard the sunray are also very good and the eq2 is best for sniping in heavy trash.
