10 x 5 " DD coil........

Thanks bertman, well i wanted to get coil inbetween 5" and 11" so i'm thinking the sharpshooter @ 9.5x5.5 " that may fit the gap. And i see tabman is using it on his T-2 and it's working great. But would like the 10x5" because it's closed and not spidered. GS

I have a NEL Sharpshooter ($120) for my F70and it works great. The top of the coil comes with a decal that says, F75. The F75 and F70 coils share the same features. It has excellent depth and I have found two rings and several clad quarter, dimes and nickels. I have written about my finds and field testing with this coil on this forum. It is easy to push around in the brush and in and around trees and fence posts. really easy to swing and the pin pointing is spot on. If the Fisher 5x10DD is better at any level I could not say and neither can anyone else, they have not been released yet. I bought my F70 from Big Boys Hobbies and my Sharpshooter from Colonial. Both were great to work with. Peace Dan

Hey Dan,

Can you do me a favor and see how well the sharpshooter hits on, lets say, a tiny lead split-shot or a gold stud earring or earring back?
An air test will be fine. I figure nugget season is fast approaching (hopefully) and I am needing something to hunt with.

Thanks
