100 Dimes

Wandering Yoda

New member
Well, 103 to be precise. Pro Zero, standard coil. Found this pile of clad at a school/sports field combo. Still stacking clad for a silver bar purchase, but leaving the local haunts alone to build up a bit. So decided to do a 45min cruise over to a high school, and on a hunch checked out a small elementary "learning center" instead. Never hunted this one before. Multi-denom and quarter pocket spills scattered all over. Near a baseball diamond was a Slush Puppy snack stand located up on a shallow hill. The hill was quite productive. Never had a 100 dime day so, towards the end of the day I tried to focus on 79-81's. Not sure what the bead is, good sounding tone though. Also found a 1999 Susan B. Anthony dollar, and a 10 pesos Mexican coin. (no comment on the border "situation":rage:) 302 coins total. 145 quarters, 103 dimes, 13 nickels, and 39 pennies. $48.59. Thanks to the Slush Puppy hound, hunches, and hillsides:biggrin:

Sweet digs :clapping:

Wowser! Nothing like finding some virgin ground!! At this rate, you'll be belly-up to the 'silver bar' in no time!

Yeah! Freaking A! a 3Xcentury day!:beers:

When Yoda does it, he really DOES it! :surprised: That bead looks silvery too! I've never used the Pro for clad shooting, you must have developed a method that is really fast and dead on retrieval? You must use a screwdriver no? Congratulations! That is just huge! 100 dimes a day is quite a feat, as is 300+ coins, and that dollar amount!:please:
Mud

One fantastic coin day........and the $$$$$ amount is not to shabby either. Heck of a STAB. HH jim tn

Fantastic day, WY. You hit it hard and found some nice clad, especially 100 dimes in one day and like Mud said: 3 century day. HH.

Wow, location can sure make a difference indeed. Nice haul bud.

If I dug that many coins on land, I would be laid up for a week. I'd have a huge grin on my face, tho.
