10x12 SEF 7.8 kHz coil for Omega

I see that Detech has a 10x12 SEF coil for the Alpha through Omega detectors. I would like to hear how this coil compares to the 11" DD. Has anyone got their hands on one for a test drive? I wonder how much the weight will effect the handling of the Omega.

I to would like to know about the SEF coil. I've got an Omega and its a killer machine, but was wondering how it would perform with the 10 x 12 SEF coil. Any info?

I had one for a short while and found it gave me 1" -1 1/2" extra depth.
Good stability and it worked well.
I did have a pinpoint issue with mine and had to send it back for a refund.
I would like to try the 11" DD coil for comparison, I dont think there will be any difference at all to be honest.
Hope thats a little help.

Thanks chaddy for the info, I think I will stay with my 11" dd coil, that depth difference is what I get compared to the stock 10" coil.:detecting:
