10x12 SEF

The big brown truck let me a 10x12 SEF on my porch today. Installed it, and did some air testing, all seems good. Just got to get rid of the snow to see if it is good as everyone says it is. It is just fun to think of getting back out there and swinging again.

I'm thinking of getting one myself. Appears from what I've seen reported that it has a bit of advantage over the Pro coil. Anyone out there know how much heavier it is than the Pro ?

See the Sovereign forum for more details on these coils complete with a weight chart on BBS and FBS coils. Several threads going on right now about them. Play nice, though. Remember it's a Sovereign forum.

I love the 10x12 SEF. I bought the 15x12 SEF as well but I'm returning it. It doesn't separate the targets nearly as well, and it's too heavy. The 10x12 goes PLENTY deep for me. I found an old fork at 14" the other day. I don't want to dig more than that.

Im going to get one. Just not this year. I only have a few solid hunts with the ET. Ive been swinging for five. I think im going to give the Pro Coil a solid shot for a season before i change it.
