11" DD Search Coil performance in trashy areas

I'm impatiently awaiting the arrival of my new e-trac. I haven't invested in any extra coils yet, but how well does the 11" DD Search Coil do in trash?

Better than any coil near it's size, almost as good as the 8 inch SunRay, which is down right impressive, and twice as good as the old10 inch slimline. You will still need small coils though.

The 12x10 SEF separates even better, though the Pro coil is as was stated, excellent for its size. But yeah you will likely want a smaller coil to go with it.

The etrac coil is great, i put one on my se and ive found 13 silver coins this past few weeks in a hunted out park. 2 of them being walking liberty halfs. All about 9-11 inches down with very moist soil. You will love the machine, my girlfriend has one. the sunray is a great coil in high trash, 5 or 8 inch one.

I think both Whites and Minelab have seen better improvement with just new coils as apposed to their new machines. Sometimes its the simple things that make the most improvement. Hats off to the pro coil and SEF. Ive found that in these economic times it cheaper to buy a new coil. I still think there is some improvement that can be made in coils and cables for us.

You will be happy with it
