11 inch coil Interference.

Hi all.

I've had my Deus for a couple of years and ran with a 9 inch coil. I recently obtained an 11 inch coil.

I've now noticed that with the 11 inch coil I'm getting terrible interference from my buddy using his Deus. I run a custom 12hz program and he runs an 8kHz program I've tried frequency shift in the expert menu but still get the same interference. I can't detect within 20 feet of him at all.

Is there anything else I can do to prevent the interference? And what would be causing it? He gets no interference from my machine at all.
But As I said we ran the same programs as we do now when I used a 9 inch coil without a problem.

Hi Kev, Just stop hunting with your friend. " NO, just joking" Check your 11" coil numbers, you might of put in one wrong # and that will cause trouble. Take the coil back out and reinstall it. Hope this helps.

EMI will mess with the 11 coil. found that out with my underground dog fence

my 11 suffers from emi too. 9 deals better with it.
