I did hunt it and will post more. I will say though, "the Omega loves fresh water sand." HH jim tn

Spent a couple of weeks detecting and walleye fishing in the Park Rapids area of Mn. The resort we were at had a nice bit of age to it, 100 years, and I had permission to hunt on it again this year. I had both the Omega and F 75 LTD with me and both scored some nice recoveries. The coins and jewelry pictures are finds made with the Omega and mostly hunting the beach sand stretch and some around the cabins that weren't yet booked. I used the LTD on an old fairgrounds, in town parks and a field behind the cabins. I loved using the Omega on the beach sand. I mostly used the 10" coil and pretty much dug everything that beeped. Not shown is the trash that comprised nails, tabs, foil, reel and outboard motor parts, and so on. I found both the Kennedy halves on my very first hunt. 1 was right on the waters edge and the other was up a little higher in the sand. I believe the 1881 IH cent came that morning, too. The 1914 Barber dime and 1951d Rosie came the same morning. The 1920 Merc was recovered the next day along the side of a drive way. Hence, missed the dime trifecta. The 37 Buffalo and 43P war nickel came on different days, as well. Along the way I found a sterling band and a small earring piece, as well as 4 wheat cents. The clad and cents picture doesn't do justice to the penny numbers, but all in all, there is a bunch. Coins deeper then 2-3" were somewhat bouncy number wise and were reading higher, usually. Over the sand ground balance was 80. Away from the sand, sand and dirt mix, mid 70's. I ran 99 sen, disc 1 and tried various tones. I am not an all metal fan, but even tried some of that. The Omega ran very smoothly and was a joy to use on this fresh water beach. Oh, and I treated my better half and self to several walleye meals, too. HH jim tn

Way to go Jim! That's some really nice finds.

You just seem to have no trouble at all finding old silver coins.
