Anyone have any experience with the 12.5" Crossfire II coil? I have a chance to pick up a new one for 45 bucks. Just wondered what it's perfomance is like and maybe how it compares to the current 9x12 PROformance model. This would be used on my 1350 in plowed farm fields. Thanks Mike

Performance is about the same. The PROformance is sturdier and a little more stable but I prefer the older coils as they are lighter and pinpoint a little easier.

Those big 12.5" search coils pinpoint on a dime!
I like how they have that little "x" in the middle. Your target will be right under it.
You should get a couple more inches in depth compared to the 9"x12". Be ready to do some diggin'. Happy Hunting!
