I got a good hit audio, dug and cut roots...dug and cut roots good audio vid 80-90...dug and cut roots, then I found them 12 inches down and 4 inches off center of my hole....a washer quarter size and a bent nail...I read the distance...gap in between these iron targets sometimes will show up if it's coin size and I guess that's what happed but the f75-ltd told me it was there........any of you guys have this happen to you......hh........Dan

I had some off center pinpoints with slanted targets using the 10 inch concentric. Even slanted targets have hit pretty well centered with the 11 inch DD or either of the small coils.

n/t

Elton,I don't know ,this was in my own yard... old activity here.....there is a lot of trash targets here almost anything you can think of....I'm gonna widen this hole later when I got time and check it out some more I get hits all over here. in my yard, my home was built about 1950 cast iron lead filled joints for sewer,I find pieces of lead all over.....going on audio only at first running sens.at 60-75...sometimes I find silver.....hh....Dan
PS.... sometimes I question if the ltd is working right but a lot of users may have that thought because of the sensitivity in bp process

Bad pinpoint, off reading of targets etc etc..

I've got a couple of spots that have burned coal pieces and they do cause a good bit of chatter. Another thing that Tinfoil has pointed out and I have come to learn is that in the bp mode each coil has a larger footprint and can "see" targets as much as 2-3" out to the sides of the coil. Even the pinpoint is bigger, particularly with the 11" stock coil. Also, some trash items tend to hit off to the side. Some bottle caps in particular. HH jim tn

Yep Jim,this seems to be the case...12 inches down and the footprint would be larger I supose.......Elton I did find a coal or burnt wood ash very small.....here in south Ga not much coal burning......hh....Dan
Also activity here from like 1850's

That is exactly how Tinfoil explained it to me. Not many, take the time to discover and post information like this.
Thanks to you and Tinfoil.

I've got several old school yard that are covered with this coal waste and it really affects my F75, but I've found that a lower sensitivity and the all metal mode seems to work very well for me. I sent Dave at Fisher a sample of this material and his suggestions were to set sensitivity to 35 and increase the discrimination until it starts to quieten down and this settings seems to work good too.

Hats off to Dave for taking the time to analyze and suggest solutions to his customers.
