1236 vs ID Excel

Perhaps you could help. I love my 1236 and have a Cz5, i really like the Id Excel reports, and want a light weight machine. Will the Excel be a worthwhile upgrade over the 1236? Thanks for any input and opinions.

The ID screen alone will indeed make it a nice upgrade and coupled with a CZ5 should make a good combo..

Bill,
From everything I have seen posted along with the info I have gotten in private emails with knowledgeable users it appears the ID Excel would make an excellent upgrade from the 1236.
Everyone agrees that ID stability, target seperation and iron handling are well above the norm. Last winter I traded off my CZ5 and had been thinking of replacing it with a 3D but for my kind of hunting I have decided the Excel may be the better choice and will have one coming soon.
