12x15 SEF EXC.?

Has anyone been able to compare the 12x15 vs 10x12 SEF's for depth? I have the dd1400, but need something deeper. I am wondering if the extra weight of the larger coil (12x15) will pay off in depth. Any testimonials for either SEF are welcome. Thanks!
 
I own the 12X15 sef and use it with my MXT. It is heavy but i can sweep it for a couple of hours switching hands. I have a swingy thingy ordered. The coil is super in all ways. It is capable of 12 inches or more on coins. It can go a couple feet on iron. Pinpointing is right on and it will separate targets extremely well. The SEF coils are setting the standards for large coils
