14 inch Excellerator Coil Plastic Bolt?

Just recieved my 14 inch Excellerator coil and noticed the plastic bolt to be quite a bit smaller in diameter to the standard Whites bolt is this normal on the Excellerator 14 and 18 inch coils? Thanks

YES-If it needs replacing I got some at Home Depot--I never did break 1--Jusy wanted a couple extra---DeathWind1
 
I have never had a problem with it with any of my three EXcelerator coils. The 'dog ears' on the coils are very stout and hold the rod quite snuggly.
