14K Gold Chain....gold plated silver heart....I'll take it!

There's an old ball park not far away from where I live and today, I detected there awhile, gathering lot's of pulltabs......you know the story right!!! Well, this literally was my last dig. I just got a call from a family member requesting a ride to somewhere and I texted back that I was coming. I really didn't mind leaving as I was gently tugging on a long slender gold chain at the time! I really thought the heart was 14K (wasn't wearing my glasses) but alas, found out later it is gold plated silver (925 stamped) but the chain is stamped solid 14K so this was ok with me! Happy Hunting all!

Nice job.

Excellent Goldie! Did you have trouble getting that out of the roots without breaking it? Good thing it had that pendant on it, or that would have been invisible to your rig huh?
Always great to see a chain! :clapping:

Woo-Boo!
Silver and gold...great find!

Thanks everyone for your comments.......Mud, yep, I had to very gently tease it from grass roots and caked on dirt. This pendant was just around an inch below and because it was under some trees, the recent rains had not soaked the ground so the earth was really dry! I took the heart part off and tried an air test on my Safari and yes, it was 'invisible' to both the Safari and the ATPro but NOT to my Whites Goldmaster II. The moment I swiped it, it blasted out a strong signal. I tried about 1 foot away and it was still quite strong. I was surprised. Maybe I'll start sweeping my local parks with the Whites just for gold chains:thumbup:
