I got my new coil from Doc last week. Going to try it out on some deep silver coins in Montana this week end.

It is a little heavier than the 10 1/2'' DD but I still use the bungie cord to lessen the weight. The weather was hot and the area that I was in had been turned over twice by a cat, so I did not detect very long. It will get more use as soon as the weather cools off. I will post as soon as I get it out again.I think that it will increase the depth by about 30% to 40% over the DD coils.
