15 inch fisher coil

I've not heard much about this big coil except that it's heavy just wondering if it's any good and how does it stack up against the bigger nel coils because I have the opportunity to pick up a brand new one for 125 dollars which is a good deal

I have the big fisher 15inch coil for the F75 DST. Haven't used it that much but it's a good coil for what it is supposed to be used for and very deep in boost while still sensitive to coin sized targets (surprisingly) .

It's a heavy sucker so I would suggest getting one of those Detectorpro "Detecting Buddies" to help with the weight.

$125 is a steal. Go for it!

Dont forget not only does it the 15" inch coil hits hard on coin sized targets. The 15' inch coil can cover a lot of ground real quick. I use it on wide open areas. As for the weight, if you detect in smaller coil swings you will not suffer fatigue as much. I also swing close to my feet. Just dont wear any shoes with metal in them. Take your toe rings off too lol.
