Nice finds DukeOBass:thumbup: Any chance of locating the owner of the class ring? How heavy is that coil? Is it so heavy that you need a swingy-thingy or do you have arms like Popeye?:surprised: HH.

I hunted for about 2.5 hours with it with no fatigue.... Perhaps after more time, but I didn't find the weight objectionable....

I started the ball rolling to find the owner as soon as I got into my car yesterday.

Despite the SEFs size, it balances well and compared with the the stock SlimLine coil the difference in weight is not that great. 1 lb 14 oz for the SEF and 1 lb. 5 oz for the SlimLine. It does really feel all that heavy. One of the next things I noticed is that I am now able to run at a higher sensitivity setting than I could using the stock coil and it has great separation.

I'm liking it more and more with each hunt.

It's a RUSH when you see that huge chunk of Gold staring back at you, that's for sure. Nothing puts a smile on your face like Big Gold (unless of course you find a Key Date Coin;)) coming out of the dirt. Nice finds and hope it continues for you. Good Luck and HH.

15x12 is a great coil!
