1550's Italian State of Milan Bronze Testone

Dug this one in a farm field south of Munich, Germany this week. Was at 8 inches and rang at 27-31 on the Nox 800. Really nice shape considering it has been in the ground for 500 years. The bronze pieces hold up so much better than the copper ones that come out as toast.

My sister-in-law found the ID for me. I bought her husband a Minelab Vanquish for Christmas from the States for her (cheaper than Germany), but I think she is the one who is hooked!

My wife calls my pictures of finds "Metal detecting Porn"
