15x12 butterfly coil

Hello guys, just wondering if any of you had any experience with the 15x12 butterfly coil on the f70-f75 ? More depth ? Less depth ? Any better than the stock coil ? Thanks in advance for the info.

very heavy compared to stock. I have not been able to use it enough to know if it has more depth. I have found plenty of small items with it, but generally run it in all metal mode out in fields.

Yes, I can see how it would be difficult to use after an hour or two of swinging. Was hoping for just a bit more depth, I have some difficult soil here and don't get the depth I would like. Thanks for the info.

they are lighter-and deep. You can see tests on youtube.
(I did not get good depth on my 10X12 SEF.)

my NEL Hunter coil is quite a bit deeper than stock, it stays on my F75 most of the time

Thanks for the info. I went ahead and ordered the Fisher 15'' DD, hope l get a bit more depth out of it, I have some difficult dirt around here, or sand, I should call it. I live no where near a beach but the sand here is very similar to beach sand and below that is red clay.
