15x12 SEF Muscles out a Silver

Howdy,

I snuck in a quick lunch time hunt. I wanted to give the 15x12 SEF a try at a site that I suspect has some deeper targets waiting (old athletic field where the clad is down to 4-5 inches).

So I walked one line with the 15x12, waiting for a deeper warble. I didn't have to walk too far before getting the type of signal I was hoping for, and was able to recover this from around 8 inches.

Decided to spot check around a few other areas, but only recovered some clad (just to help calibrate/confirm expectations here). Looking forward to a few more passes with it.

HH,

With or without the coaster wheels:clapping:, It's a monster for sure. I couldn't handle it and sold mine after just a week of trying to drag it around. Great coil just not for the more "mature" group of us.

Nice going DF.:clapping: How much does that coil weigh?
