Howdy,
I left the 15x12 SEF on from yesterday, and took it back out to the same spot this evening to walk a few more lines. This is ground I've been over before many, many times, but with the 8x6 SEF, Pro coil, and another brand detector. I'm just waiting for the deep chirps and warbles to appear, and not really chasing too many iffy signals yet.
So far I've been able to get good sounding hits, and the targets are at decent depth. I know the last Wheat I recovered was down a good 9 inches, as I could put the Lesche in almost up to the top of the handle.
I haven't found the coil to be too heavy, and swinging it around for an hour hasn't been too bad. Pinpoint has been good on deeper targets, just need to de-tune a bit on more shallow ones.
Overall, I'm glad to have it as an available tool for the right site (which this is). Ended the hunt with four Wheats, a religious medal, and an AAA Patrol Service pin. The fact that there are still deep Wheats of course is a good sign...
