1800's large cent , war nickel and a silver charm

So it has been raining here in MA quite a lot over the last week. I managed to get out in between the rain drops on a couple different locations. I dug a 1800 -1807 large cent at the old faithful cellar hole. Its pretty worn but enough detail to ID it. Also there I pulled out a buckle and a small caliber bullet. Then another day I was in my GF's yard and dug a 1945 P war time nickel. That's a first for me. Then not more than 5 feet away up comes the sterling silver charm. On the front it says Troy New York. It has initials engraved on the back. So off to my old middle school and dug the gold plated junk ring. I believe the stone is a garnet. I also dug modern clad bottle caps, pull tabs, foil etc....goes with the territory. Sorry for the long post. Thanks for looking. HH Tim

Thanks Treasurebone. And thanks for the camera tip. I need something better. My smart phone doesn't do well with photo quality. And I want to start making videos to post. I enjoy watching all the guys making Mding videos. So I figure I will give it a try. HH Tim

Awesome I've got your channel set up to email me everytime you upload a new video. I'll be watching!:fisher:

Yes I saw that this morning on my email. I'm also set up to see you too. I don't have much on there yet. But soon enough when I purchase the new kodak Zi6

Tim, we'll take as much of your rain as you want to send down our way. We are way under watered. Very nice hunt(s). Been since a business stint in Ga in the early 90's that I've dug a large cent. Nice finds! HH jim tn

Thanks Jim. I think this is my 3rd large this year. 1794. One I can't even make out. Same with the half cent. There cool to find though. Now for rain. Wish I could send it your way. Lovely rainy New England. HH. Tim

Speaking of large cents I will be in MA. around the 24th of June I hope to get out detecting. That is if i can take my detector.

Woops I typed MA I meant CT. my father in law use to live in Springfield but just recently moved to Manchester, CT. I guess it's about 25 minutes from Springfield, from what I understand.

Ah yes. I'm 40 minutes west of springfield. CT will have good hunting grounds. You should research the area if you can and bring your F70

Nice digs Tim can't wait to see your vids. Have never found a large cent but am still looking haha ....hh rick in mi.

Thanks Rick. They are different to find. There are many more out there. You just have to be in the right area and swing over them. HH Tim
