1812 button? and more

Well, I think I found another 1812 button. The Front has what looks like 3 feathers, and says "ich dien" and a "100". Obviously 100th regiment...although I can't be sure it's an 1812 button. The backmark says "I. Nutting & Son" which appeared to be in business from about 1800-1840. It appears to be in good shape with gilting still remaining, and the shank still intact.

I also picked up this 1897 fishscale and a flat button...which appears to be pewter!? Thanks for looking.

100th Regt of Foot is per 1812 later
This unit was Known as 1st Battn, late 100th ( or Prince Of Wales Royal Canadian Regt) In 1900 this unit was known as "the Prince of Wales Leinster Regt ( Royal Canadians)"
The unit served in Canada...
11 Officers and 260 Men perished off the coast of Newfoundland Oct 21 1805... They fought in the War of 1812..with hard fighting in the summer of 1813 around Niagara..They have a long history connected to Canada..however they were only here during the War of 1812..Seems when the unit was re-raised in 1857 many Canadian Militia Officers offered to re-form it including Lt. Col. Dunn who was given Command and won the VC at Balaklava..he was from Toronto..also as of 1900 the Regts old Colours were given to Ottawa.
Interesting unit!!! Nice Find..you should check into the units history.
My book shows the Badge as of 1900..but no buttons..it does give the complete linage of every British Regt as of 1900...expensive book but worth it!!
