1819 1c Favorite coin of '07 - Deer season ends tomorrow ready to get back MDing

I dug my one and only large cent of 2007 in February with my GTI1500. I tried to photograph different ways to post last spring and could never get a good one. I finally just held it now and snapped it. This is the best looking lady that I have dug.
I have not been out in three months due to hunters all over my spots. Getting back out this week. Glad to see the sight
as active as ever.
Happy New Year!

Nice lookingcoin bud. Yeag getting shot at by idiot brush shooters is the pits. I've dodged my share of bullets.

Try using the macro settings on your digicam. (It is the tulip icon). It will allow you to get as close as 6 inches, some cameras even less. I mount the camera on a tripod, put the camera in macro, set the image for the smallest image size for posting, overide the auto flash and set the timer for 10 seconds to reduce camera shake. Then depress the shutter and step back for 10 seconds.

You will get amazing details like on the colonial flat button shown...
