From the land of the Bluenose...bored today so sharing a few finds from the past. This 1843 token was found around one of the lochs for the Shubinacadie Canal system and is without a doubt one of the largest coins around about the size of a tin can top...that is at least what I thought it was when I dug it up. Got to love those marine and ship themes on the coins.

Beautiful coin Leslie. How deep are these coins when you retrieve? Are these coins inland more or on near the water?

From the land of the Bluenose...nothing sems deeper then 6 inches and in the water and along lake paths seem to be the best.
