1865 IH! 141 year old coin! :)

well found a 1865 Indian Head on the bank barn hill. It's been soaking since Monday night. This is the oldest coin I've found there
with a readable date. The LC's were all toast so far. We're getting the Tropical storm for next 2-3 days - so next chance to hunt will probably be Monday. Rain should improve finds in this area.

You don't find old Indian's in the 60's and 70's very often up here so it is a rarity for me to find one. Great looking coin and hope the rest of the crud come off. Good Luck and HH at that great site of yours and hope you rake them in!
