I went back to a farm field I have hunted for the last three years. I love this one because it is almost a half mile off of the road. The first time I hunted here I picked up a two cent piece lying right on top of the ground. Today I started on the north end of the house site where I had never found much. I hadn't been there five minutes when I got a great tone and a lower than anticipated vdi number. I couldn't believe how nice this one looked coming out of the ground. This is probably the last time I can get into this field until after harvest this Fall. Things may be even better after the farmers stir things up.
