Howdy folks.
Got out this morning. It was hot by 8:30, bleh. Hit a school that was not doing anything. Bleh.
On the way home, I decided to hit a buddy's old place that I have pounded with 3 other detectors. Found the 1877 S seated quarter among a bunch of iron. A smooth, angled rock guided my digger to the back of the coin - ticked me off so bad.
I got even more upset when I figured out it was my first seated quarter. You can see the rust stain near the date. Love the Deus.
Got the silver ring near the back of the property.
